WEAR GHANA FESTIVAL

The National Commission on Culture this year organized the Wear Ghana Festival which was celebrated from February 2019 to March 2019. The celebration was under the theme “WEAR THE TALK, PROMOTE YOUR OWN”. The celebration was to help promote Ghana’s cultural heritage, local textile industry, and rewarding creativity in the fashion industry and boost economic gains in the sector as well as the Ghanaian economy

The celebration which was launched on 26^th February 2019 at the board room of the Local Government Service had the following events and programs

1. Float on 1^st March 2019 which involved a walk, free health screening and exhibition
2. Fun day/ cultural day on 15^th March, 2019 which has in it a Photo shoot

The celebration was climaxed with a fashion show night on 30^th March, 2019 at the National theatre.
